Last month, Lori Nova Endres was honored to be a guest on the HSCG Podcast (for those who don’t know, that stands for The Handcrafted Soap & Cosmetic Guild). She’s been a proud member of the guild for the past 12 years, and she joined radio host Adam Grogin to record two episodes of HSCG Radio – the Podcast for soap & cosmetic handcrafters.
In preparation for her upcoming talk at the 2017 HSCG Conference this coming May in Las Vegas, Lori chose topics of value to handcrafters considering teaching DIY classes to make extra money. It’s part of a growing list of Teacher Resources that we’re putting together.
Please enjoy the first episode, in its entirety, focused on all the factors that gobble up your time (aka “How much time it really takes to teach classes”). Adam asked fantastic questions that allowed them to go deep into all the ins-and-outs of each topic. It would be a perfect to listen to over lunch or while working at your desk. It’s about an hour in length.
The second episode, which has not yet aired, will be on what makes a great teacher (something to help those just starting out, who might be hesitant to try their hand at teaching if they’ve never taught before). We will keep you posted when it goes live.
The HSCG radio show covers a wide array of topics that we think you’ll love. It’s completely free and you don’t have to be a member to listen in. If you want to check out the other recorded episodes at the HSCG Podcast, go here and bookmark the page.
After listening, we’d love to know what you think. Leave your favorite tip from Lori’s episode in the comments, or feel free to share your own!
