Lori's
Making Natural Perfumes Class Comments
"Hi,
Lori! That was a great class -- I'm enjoying the
perfumes
I made, especially the solid one. I'd love to
come back, to refine the mixes I did. As usual,
you've done so much research and laid it out so
well in the handouts, it's really a treasure trove
of information. I'm really looking forward to
taking more classes from you. Take care!"

"I
enjoyed myself once again in your natural
perfumes class. You can count on me to
tell everybody I know. I took my perfumes to work
and told everybody. I like the roll-on oil one
I made the best. I really like the spray too and
I am glad that I made the "spearmint tic-tac"
scent. I put spearmint, vanilla and benzoin. I
use it as a foot spray; the mint feels so refreshing.
I use it all over if I am outdoors... they say
that mint wards off mosquitos. I was glad to see
some organic oils too. Thanks again." - Jeanette

"Hi
Lori, As you know already, I loved the natural
perfume class. I learned a ton and hope
to put it to use, soon. I thoroughly enjoyed getting
to smell the various EOs/notes. It gave you a
real sense of which scents you really like and
what combinations you'd love to experiment with
for the various types of perfumes (alcohol, solid
or roll on). What I learned here is also applicable
to candle making. I'd love to take it again to
practice a bit more with an expert close at hand!!!
Thanks for your hard work and for offering such
great classes. It's always hard to know which
one to take next!." - Maureen

"Hi
Lori, I found the perfume
making class to be extremely informative
and the handouts were just the appropriate amount
of information for someone just starting out.
Also, I'll be signing up for your cold
process and hot
process soap making, so you're probably
going to see a lot more of me in the coming months.
Thanks again! - Regina

"What
I enjoyed most about the perfume
class was everybody had the opportunity
to make perfume they could bring home. Second,
the printed material was, not only given out,
but it was explained. I had read about the "notes"
in books before, but never quite understood. Being
in class, having notes (top, middle & base)
explained and actually making something brought
it all together. Your class was not too big, so
each person could use the materials, ask questions,
even make mistakes and correct mistakes without
feeling hurried." - Ann

"I
just *loved* the perfume
class. I can see how scent blending can
become addictive. I don't think I will venture
too deep into that area area just yet, but I can
see using the blending techniques I learned to
perfect the two or three blends I use in some
of my soaps. I can also see making some very basic
body sprays for my own use. Again... THANK YOU
for the great class!" - Linda

"The
class on
perfume was very refreshing for me. I
did not know anything about perfumery and I was
elated that I made my own perfume for the first
time. My husband and friends said that it was
much better than the ones that I had bought from
stores. I am very happy. Thank you very much.
I understood the class very well as you spoke
in simple English language and also answered any
questions we asked. I also loved the other students
in the class; they were very cooperative. I hope
to take a couple of classes in the future at the
Nova studio." - Halima

"Lori's
perfume
class was great! I had a great time learning
about all kinds of different scents and then being
able to blend them in any way I wanted to make
great smelling perfumes. It was a fun hands-on
class that taught me something I can definitely
continue at home, which is to make my own perfumes
out of one or more essential oils. Thank you!"
