"Although I had a little bit of experience in making lotion I still found myself not quite understanding the do's and don'ts of making a nice quality cream. Or how to ensure my creams didn't somehow go funky. Whipped butters? I'd seen recipes but hadn't actually taken the time to experiment. Your (lotions/creams/butters) class was absolutely great and informative and just what I needed to overcome my fear of lotion making -- we are so lucky to have you and The Nova Studio in the Bay Area. "Hi Lori, Was just thinking about you and your studio and the creams/butters class. Loved it, loved it, loved it. Your studio is wonderful. The environment is very conducive to learning, relaxing, taking it all in. The neighborhood is quaint, not too heavily traffic-ed, so there's not a lot of distraction coming from outside. You attract good people and it's nice to be able to network with others in the class. Parking is not an issue either. The creams/butters class was very informative. I'm trying to find my own niche making things hopefully to sell. By taking this class, I can see you have to be really serious to sell this type of product, especially due to the testing. "I really enjoyed the salts and scrubs class, as I have the other classes I've attended this month (lotions and melt & pour soap). It was great because I could go home and immediately make the products with things I already had on hand!
